Gemstar backs Wheldon’s PacWest Indy Lights team

Dan Wheldon’s Indy Lights team – PacWest Racing – has signed Gemstar Communications Inc in a marketing and sales alliance to become an associate sponsor this season.

PacWest Racing Group was formed by Bruce R McCaw in 1993 and currently fields two cars in the FedEx Championship Series and also competes in the Dayton Indy Lights Championship – in which 22-year old English driver, Dan Wheldon, made his series debut on 11^th March.

PacWest Racing employs 94 people for its race and marketing operations in Indianapolis, USA, 17 of which are dedicated solely to marketing the team and its partners.

Gemstar is being represented through car signage and will also have the chance to make use of the many networking opportunities developed by PacWest to further business-to-business relationships.
